EVO Pushup Tutorial: How to learn and improve your pushup?

Want to learn a pushup or improve your pushups?
Whether you already know how to do a pushup or not, our 30 Day EVO Pushup Challenge will either teach you how to do pushups correctly or help you work on doing multiple reps in a row!

But why actually pushups?

The pushup is one of the most effective exercises there is! And best of all, you can do it anywhere, so you can stay flexible with your workout! With pushups you not only train a muscle group, but you can strengthen your shoulders, arms and chest muscles at the same time. You also improve your posture with the pushup and protect your body from injury, because you train even your core, gluteal and back muscles. This way, you work your whole body with a single exercise and get a full workout! The push-up also helps you to strengthen your abdominal muscles and work on your six-pack.

How to perform a pushup correctly?

Step 1: Hand position
  • Hands shoulder width: The hands and shoulders should form a line
  • Elbows slightly outward
Step 2: Straight body position
  • The body forms a straight line with the head, spine and hips
  • Hips should not sag, no hollow back
Step 3: Align shoulders
  • Do not sag
  • Push shoulder blades upwards
4th step: Strong torso
  • Tension of the body center as well as the whole body
5th step: Pushup!
  • Inhale, tense, bend elbows
  • Exhale during the upward movement
Variation: Keep knees on the floor, but maintain straight body line.

What you need to do?

Download the EVO APP from your appstore and take part in our challenge.
Start on day 1 with 1 pushup, on day 2 you do 2 pushups, on day 3 it's 3 pushups.... You'll see that on day 30 you can suddenly do 30 pushups!
