EVO Fitness X HYROX: Fitness for everyone

HYROX is THE new trend in fitness and endurance sports! If you love obstacle races, triathlon or CrossFit, are a fitness fan and like to train everywhere, HYROX is the ideal sport for you.
HYROX combines as all 3 training methods in one sport: functional strength training, high-intensity interval training - consisting of athletic training, strongman and CrossFit, - combined with the classic endurance training running.

What is HYROX?

So HYROX is neither another obstacle course nor a CrossFit event, but is right in between. HYROX is a unique combination of different training methods that demands everything from you and takes your fitness to a new level.
But HYROX is more than a sport, it is the first international competition for everyone!

How does a HYROX competition work?

In a competition, each participant runs eight 1-kilometre intervals and completes a workout from functional fitness training between each of these intervals. The workouts last 2-7 minutes, depending on your fitness level.
You can test your personal fitness level and push yourself beyond your limits alone or together with your HYROX Doubles partner.
Think you're not fit enough?
HYROX is for everyone, that's why there are different divisions.

What are the Divisions?

The HYROX Men/Women categories are ideal for beginners. Lower weights than in the PROFI category ensure a 99% finisher rate. This means that you are almost certain to finish!
But if you fancy a bigger challenge, there are still the PROFI categories.
In the men's and women's PROFI categories, the strongest athletes compete for world records and prize money.
If you prefer to work in a team, it is best to register for the DOUBLES category. Whether you run as a men's or women's team, or as a MIXED team, in DOUBLES you run together and share the workouts with each other.
As you can see, there is something for every taste and every level!

How can I join?

If you want to be part of a HYROX event yourself, sign up for one of the EVO Fitness X HYROX events!

Procedure:
The workout (approx. 1,5h) takes place in teams of 2: The first counts the others and after a predefined time the teams turn around so that everyone has time for a warm-up.
