David - EVO Fitness Headcoach

Today we would like to introduce you to David. David is head coach at EVO Fitness and club manager in Hamburg Stadthausbrücke. But he also lives his passion for sports outside of work.
We asked him 5 questions today so you can get to know him better:

David, why do you like working with people?

Because I get something back from people through my work, and that is the best feedback I can get as a coach. And I can learn something from every single person I work with. To give the variety mensch something with which you feel better and develop fun in sports. I enjoy working with people because they are so different and that makes the work so beautiful and exciting.

What are the most important qualities that make you a trainer?

That I manage with my personality and my positive attitude in life & sports can motivate and inspire other people to do something good for themselves. Because we have and this one body and on this we should take good care and respect. And our health is the most important thing we have. Because without health we could not do many other beautiful things in life.

What are your three tips for staying motivated in the long run?

Fun, focus on a goal, the right mindset ( reward).

What has been your biggest sporting challenge so far?

To run 100km at a stretch. From Kiel to Hamburg (This action was for the benefit of the organization Hanseatic Help e.v. in Hamburg. I ran the 100km for homeless people in Hamburg and collected money.
It was for me a physical and mental new experience, and it was worth it in the end to give other people what I have, namely a roof over your head or food and much more.

What three to five exercises do you think should be in every training plan?

Squat
Pull-ups
Push-ups
Endurance
Depending on the training condition of the athlete.
