This is how you achieve your fitness goals for sure!

A healthy lifestyle is a marathon, not a sprint. Building long-term fitness requires routines and perseverance. This is not always easy, especially in the beginning. When you start eating healthier, exercising more, living a healthy lifestyle, you are full of energy and motivation! You see the first results and want to keep working on yourself. But at some point you reach a point where it's not so easy to make further progress, or an illness, a holiday or a stressful time throws you off your rhythm. And suddenly you feel like you're starting all over again.

What happens next?

Now it's time to decide how much you really want to work on yourself. If you have already developed a few well-functioning routines, it will be easier for you to stick to them, even if your motivation is not 100 per cent.

Today we're going to give you a few tips on how to get started with your training and stick with it for the long haul!

1.Set yourself SMART goals.
Set goals that are realistic and achievable, that include a fixed time for achievement, that are clearly formulated and whose success you can easily track.2. Step by step
Do not try to change everything at once. Of course you are motivated, but if your healthy lifestyle degenerates into stress, you have gained nothing.3. The right rhythm
Even if you want to train every day and reach your goals as quickly as possible, you should find the right rhythm. To start with, keep 2-3 fixed days free for your training.4. Think positively
Save the good feeling after the workout. You have achieved something, you feel fit. If you have a day when your motivation is not so high, remember this feeling.
5. Give yourself time off
Don't be too hard on yourself. Nobody is perfect. You are allowed to take some time off. But try to integrate them into your rhythm.
Developing and maintaining a new habit usually takes 60 days. So if you sometimes find it hard to stay in your rhythm or find your motivation, that's perfectly normal. If you really don't feel like it or are tired, try to incorporate at least a little exercise into your daily routine. Go for a 20-minute walk or do some stretching. Keep your routine, because moving a little is better than not moving at all. Signal to your brain that you are doing something positive for yourself and always keep your goal in mind.
